At Anomaly, we've always believed that some of the best people to fix the way we pay for healthcare are the ones who've worked inside it. Today, we're proud to announce three promotions that reflect both that belief and the momentum we've built as a company.
Mina Egan is stepping into the role of Chief Operating Officer. Kate Marcot is taking on the role of Chief Growth Officer and Anna Roberto is stepping into the role of Head of Sales.
These are not outside hires. They're leaders who came to Anomaly because they believed in what we were building, and who have shaped what that looks like from the inside.
These three women have sat at the table with payers, negotiated risk contracts, built provider growth organizations, and run revenue cycle operations. From Optum to Advisory Board, Iora Health, One Medical, and Huron, they've seen firsthand where the system breaks down and where the leverage points are. That's not a coincidence. It's how we hire.
"Our healthcare system can’t be fixed by people who've only watched it from the outside. The leaders we're promoting have spent their careers inside the systems, inside the payer organizations, inside the rooms where these decisions get made. They came to Anomaly because they saw a real opportunity to change the dynamic. Watching them grow into this next chapter of the company is one of the things I'm most proud of in leading this company."
- Mike Desjadon, CEO, Anomaly
Mina joined Anomaly in November 2023 as our first Chief Growth Officer, and over the past two and a half years she has been central to how we've built our commercial foundation and sharpened our strategy. Before Anomaly, she served as CCO at HealthReveal, VP at Accolade, and VP at Optum's Clinovations practice. She holds an MBA in Health Care Management from Wharton.
Promoting Mina into the COO role reflects how much of the company's operational backbone she already owns, and how central she is to where we're going.
"Anomaly is a special place. We have an exceptionally talented and passionate team and are deeply committed to delivering value for our clients. We're gaining rapid market traction and are partnering with leading providers to shake up the healthcare payment landscape. I couldn’t be more excited to deepen our commitment to our team, culture, clients, and overall impact in this next role.”
- Mina Egan, COO, Anomaly
Kate joined Anomaly in October 2025 as VP of Health Systems, bringing 15+ years of commercial experience across Advisory Board, Optum, Iora Health, and One Medical. She has negotiated global risk Medicare Advantage contracts, built B2B distribution channels from scratch, and led sales organizations covering half the US provider market. Her background is squarely at the intersection of payer and provider dynamics, the exact territory Anomaly operates in.
As CGO, Kate will lead our growth strategy as we expand our managed care capabilities and deepen our health system relationships.
"My north star has always been helping providers deliver on their core mission of caring for patients. I've spent my career at the intersection of payers and providers, and I've seen how complicated that relationship can be. Anomaly is tackling that at the root, and I'm excited to expand the growth engine that brings our capabilities to more health systems."
- Kate Marcot, CGO, Anomaly
Anna joined Anomaly in May 2025 as VP of Partnerships. Before that, she spent six years at Huron in progressive healthcare consulting roles, then moved into growth leadership at Janus Health. Her career has been built in revenue cycle, and she brings deep operational knowledge of what health systems are actually trying to solve.
In her new role, Anna will lead our sales organization as we scale into new markets and customer segments.
"The part of this job I love most is being close to our customers, seeing our impact land in real time, and figuring out where we can continue to grow the value. I believe deeply in Anomaly's mission to bring transparency and accountability to the relationship between providers and payers, and I'm thrilled to keep doing that work alongside this awesome team and bring it to more customers."
- Anna Roberto, Head of Sales, Anomaly
We're grateful to have leaders who continue to shape this team. The momentum we've built as a company is a direct reflection of the people building it, and we're just getting started.
